V230ME04-LF VCO Featuring Ultra Low Phase Noise   SAN DIEGO, December 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V230ME04-LF in VHF band. The V230ME04-LF operates from 226-233 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -123 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 3 MHz/V. The V230ME04-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 17 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -9 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V230ME04-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.  V230ME04-LF
is well suited for mobile radio and cellular base station applications
