Sr. RF Engineer

Position Description:

The Sr. RF Engineer will perform as a competent specialist, consultant, and/or advisor on assignments requiring advanced application of technical or engineering principles relative to Radio Frequency Engineering. Assignments are generally complex in nature with considerable discretion given to work details and approaches utilized. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Provides support in the design, development, and testing of radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits or products. Efforts may include analog and digital circuits or products, frequency synthesizers, amplifiers, transmitters and receivers, down converters, frequency multipliers, digital logic, demodulators, Land Mobile Radio systems, SATCOM, commercial communication systems, Wi-Fi, cellular, Tactical Communications, down converters, filters, and antenna systems ranging from arrays to parabolic reflectors.
• Performs, or directs the performance of complex engineering assignments involved in the research, design, and development of an overall project comprised of a number of equipment of systems.
• Maintains liaison with other engineering and scientific organizations to keep abreast of developments in similar fields or programs and coordinates group activities with those of other engineering groups.
• Evaluates engineering progress, developments, and findings to assure technical adequacy to meet operational demands and conformance with established standards and practices.
• Originates engineering plans, ideas, schemes, and techniques as may be required to direct the efforts of assigned personnel in the achievement of desired results and objectives.
• Manages RF projects from concept to delivery of hardware solution.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering with at least 13 years of experience working with RF components and systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required.

Additional Qualifications:

• SATCOM and RF system experience to include design, operation and installation of RF systems Project management experience Experienced using RF test equipment to include signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer, vector signal generators, source generators, EVM measurement.
