Job Description:

DEC Antenna Design and Simulation - RF CafeDEC has an immediate opening for an RF Field Test Engineer in Dayton, Ohio. The position requires a BS Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience. Primary duties consist of planning and conducting field evaluations of innovative / experimental RF systems. This includes travel to western test ranges, coordination with Federal Government agencies, frequency allocation, trouble-shooting, and data analysis. Experience with bi-static systems desired, but not required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. The primary job location is in Dayton, Ohio at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Position Requirements:

  • DEC Conducts Research in the AFRL Indoor Range ComplexAt least 5 Years experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance (preferably with a current active clearance)
  • Background in RF system measurement facilities including indoor and outdoor evaluations ranges with knowledge of associated hardware and test equipment for collecting data and performance parameters
  • Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge of RF/electronic equipment fabrication and assembly
  • Experience with writing and coordinating test procedures 

DEC engineers and technicians conduct research and development of advanced sensor systems at the Air Force Research Laboratory Sensors Directorate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
