Multicarrier Intermodulation products - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hello,

This is regarding the intermodulation products from Multicarrier transmission. Suppose I have six carriers (1840.6 Mhz,1841.6Mhz,1842.6MHz,1843.6MHz,1844.6 MHz and 1845.6 MHz) spaced 1Mhz apart and fed to a power amplifier.
In this case howmany pure IM3 products will be there?. I did excel calculation and come up with 30 IM3 products(calculated using 2*f2-f1....). Is this correct?
How many IM5 and IM7 products?
Has anybody got excel/matlab for making this type of calculations?
Appreciate your help.
