802.11 a/g phase noise - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hello,

Does anyone know if there is an actual curve/plot/figure showing the official IEEE 802.11a/g phase noise requirements for the oscillator?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Andrew Wu

I'm not really familiar with 802.11, but I'd be surprised if the phase noise was specified in the 802.11 spec. I think you need to derive that one.
