Yow, I haven't been over to the RF Globalnet forums
in quite a while because of the overwhelming Antiamerican
tone of the Just for Fun board. There is nothing
but Bush-basing and slamming of the U.S.A. I did
not see a single attempt today by anyone there to
defend this country. That was common a year or so
ago when I used to read it, and stopped out of disgust.
Is VerticalMarket a foreign-owned conglomerate?
I'm surprised their advertisers keep supporting
them - probably don't know what's being said on
thier forums.
At least here on RF Cafe the
comments are generally civil. I don't know whether
Kirt cleans the boards of offensive stuff or not.
Kirt, do you?

Greetings VSWR: I have only deleted posts
a few times, all because they were spam subjects
like mortgage or vitamin offers. I might have changed
a dirty word or two somewhere along the line, without
altering the context. This is not a pure
2nd Amendment forum, so censorship will occur at
my discretion.

Well, when you are standing on the top of pedestal
it is only natural that people will try and knock
you down. The United States is the greatest country
on the planet, we have the highest standard of living,
lead the world in "ALL" technologies, while many
countries in Europe and North America maintane tiny
defense budgets knowing that the United States will
come to their defense ( As we have done many times)
if warranted. If we adopted an isolationist policy
today, the the world would start bashing us because
we are not accepting our responsibility in the world.
Either way we lose in the realm of public opinion.
As a US citizen I know that this country has not
always made the right decisions, but the good out
weighs the bad. Many americans have sacrificed their
lives for this country and other countries. I have
served this country, and I am proud of this country
and as far as I am concerned that all that counts.
