Gain vs. Phase of the Moon Graph from Watkins Johnson - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Greetings:

Does anyone remember the graph in one of the 1980s vintage Watkins Johnson catalogs that had a graph for an amplifier (I think) that plotted Gain (I think) versus "Phase of the Moon?"

I have tried on other industry forums, as well as by writing to WJ, to get a copy of this page from the databook, but have never been able. A Google Search does not turn up any results, either.

If anyone happens to have a copy, I would greatly appreciate either an image file or a physical copy of it. I can also give a fax number to send a copy to. It would make a great item for RF Cafe.

Thank you.

Hi Kirt,

I absolutely remember that graph. It seemed to transcend revisions to their catalog - missed by the proofreader types who would normally have found no humor in it, much to our delight.

Can't say I've got a copy of it however. It would indeed be a gem to add here.
