Hey my American cousins "Merry Christmas to you
all". Do you not think that we should ask
father santa to make sure GWB is elected a third
time? Or do you think the rest of the world
can rely upon you all to lobby your congressional
leaders to amend the constitution instead?

Re; that link says "the US led war in vietnam"
Something must have been wrong with my teachers
in high school. They told me that the vietnam war
was led by the Viet Cong who were backed by China.
Might as well ask if I was also misinformed
about China leading the war in Korea while we are
on the subject.
I suppose that is why so
many US citizens now buy everything from china.

your teacher is definitely wrong. In fact the Vietnamese
call it the American war. Money can buy you many
thing including slave labor and sometimes the truth
– but not always!

So the U.S. of A. went to Vietnam and started invading
north vietnam? Now I see where my teachers were
wrong. China did not supply arms to North vietnam
to invade south vietnam. They were just defending
the US invasion into the north? What about France
and the other countries that were supplying "advisors"
there before the US ?

Not counted in those figures are the equipment and
security resources provided by the U.S., which surpasses
that of other counties. The U.S. provided more than
40% of all aid worlwide in 2004.
Nothing
is ever enough, so I say we should stop giving totally
for a few years and see how things go. If the world
hates us and wants to blame us for everything, then
let's stop helping out. What will you do - not like
us more?
Personally, I think the money we're
spending on fighting terrorism worldwide is enough
to excuse us altogether for this effort. Let the
other countries bear the brunt of the burden for
a change.

1) Why are we talking about a 3rd term when the
1st term isn't over yet? Do you really want to
end term limits for president completely or just
for W? Remember, if Clinton could have run in
2000, he would have carried the Blue states won
by Gore and his home state of Arkansas giving him
the election. Removing term limits now would also
open up the next election for Clinton as well as
Bush. Be careful of what you wish for.
2)
The listing for aid for the tsunami victims is embarassing.
We really dropped the ball on this one. As for the
figure of 40% of world aid, what is the source of
this figure. I think this includes all forms of
aid including military, economic, and diasater aid.
I disagree with the spending tax money for annual
handouts, but coming to the aid of people in crisis
from this disaster is just the right thing to do.

Are you offering a housing and job placement
or just the transportation cost? LOL When
did you take ownership of the entire country anyway?
"Our" wonderful country has a Constitution with
a Bill of Rights that allows all of us to speak
our minds.
