GPS World editorial - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Well, I just got around to reading the June 2004 issue of GPS World magazine. Any doubts about whether its editor, Glen Gibbons, is a flaming Blame-America-First liberal has been put to rest. He has chosen to take the magazine readership for stooges and serve up a dish of in-your-face anti-Americanism. He even invokes the Kyoto Treaty which has no bearing at all on GPS.

You can read it here (just one page).

Is anyone else tired of these media editors slamming the United States at every opportunity just to try to court favor with their foreign contacts? They take for granted that their American constituency will remain loyal.

I recommend people cancel their subscription to GPS World, and maybe just go online to read articles if necessary. Hit GPS World and others like it in the pocketbook, where they will feel it.

Is that a pun, "no bearing on GPS?"
