Bim2 Transceiver - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi,

I am using a Radiometrix Transceiver to control an Alarm System. Can any1 help me with the use of the Bim2.

I know that I have to send a preamble, followed by a start bit, then the data (Manchester Encoded), then a stop bit and CRC checksum.

I am not sure how the start and stop bits work (i.e. does the transceiver use them or does the Microcontroller that I am using have to understand them)?

If any1 has any info or advice they could offer I would be greatful.
