Hello,

Can anyone recommend an Australian or New Zealand university that offers a decent RF design course?( If one exists)

I can read an understand the theory on RF design, yet often I come across a schematic with 10 or so transistors and I find myself scratching my head. I wish to become fluent in the design of multiple transistor circuits. Would I find this experience at a university or does this knowledge only come with years of experience in a workplace environment?

Thankyou

Hello,

RF design is just a specialization in electronics engineering which is offered almost by any university. University studies will not neccessarily give you a capability to analyze complex circuits but it will give you the background to understand deeply what is behind the component and how they behave. There is no substiute to work experience and also to self-learning which will help you to gain the knowledge of complex circuits.

By the way, what is your current education level?

Hi Darcyrandall2004,
Here David from China. I am also interested in going abroad for further study.
I have also completed my IELTS exam and my preferred countries are Australia or New Zealand. I can read an understand the theory on RF design, yet often I come across a schematic with 10 or so transistors and I find myself scratching my head.
