How is Mini-circuits? Anybody on this forum works there? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

No, I do not work there, but know from talking to people there that it is not a desireable place to work.

Don't know if that's what the poster has in mind - could just mean lots of yelling and fighting between employees.

I've worked for companies like that, where the people act like whiny children.

I hear that Harvey is a tough cookie. I know several that worked there. They have implied it is a sweat shop. I hear that when you come out of the interview, you will be thinking WTF ?

I also hear that they pay well and you will get good design experience. i HAVEN'T heard of any job now that you DON'T work your balls off.

HINT: parking sucks BUT do not park in Harvey's spot

Texas Instruments is also very hostile. Agriculture qualified boss making decisions about 802.11a/b/g/, RF and antennas. Killed all invents and patents.

Hey Guest,
I just got a call from a headhunter re: a Global Spec out of Troy NY--sort of an engineer's Google. Is this the company you were referring to? I am scheduled for an interview with their sales manager and found your quote while checking them out on the net. Can you make any suggestions/recommendations on what to watch out for?
Thanks in Advance,
Mikey
