Anybody know what its like in Mini Circuits - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

What is Mini Ckts like? If anybody has friends working at Mini circuits could u please pass on their IM (e-mail)? The interviews were hectic.

Does anyone have idea on typical salary ranges for Components Engineers / Test Engineers in the New York Area at an entry level with masters? Thanks.

see this thread on this forum:
"How is Mini-circuits? Anybody on this forum works there?"

Doesn't look too good to me, dude.

Also, it probably isn't a real great idea to be asking those kinds of specific questions (and criticize the HR lady) and then use your real name.

work with a couple of people formerly from Mini Circuits. From what they say the pay is low and they expect you to work 80hrs a week. No good words on Harvey, supposedly manges through intimidation ( Solves problems by screaming). This of course is coming from former employees.

The HR lady was really nice. Looks like Harvey does most of the critical decisions anyway. The location in Brooklyn seems awesome too. I hope it works out. And I'd really talk to people working there or have moved on from the company.
