frequency jammer - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Well Kirt,
I think its time for a name change for your site. Time to scrap www.rfcafe.com and change it to...

www.phonejammer.com

Yes! I have an excellent schematic for a jammer as well as some other great circuits that are worth millions! Unfortunately, due to problems about something or another, I need someone in Nigeria to help me by setting up a bank account in my name. Of course, I will gladly give you a sizeable percentage of the millions. But, I'm afraid you will need to start the bank account in my name with at least $10,000 so that the process can get started. Don't worry, though, I will gladly give you a big percentage of the millions and any schematics that you want within a few weeks of the bank account being set up. Please notify me when the account is set up on "reverse.nigerian.scam@moron.com".

Hi Kirt :

just my two cents of thought, I think you should lock this kind of topic. and maybe ban those ppl from the forum...

and let them think how to design those jammers themselves, instead of begging openly in this forum.

Regards,
Jean

Greetings Jean:

I wonder how many of these postings are done just to tweak everybody. I haven't looked around on other engineering forums to see if it is a common topic. Locking these jammer topics might be a good idea.

I'm pretty sure that this one was to tweak everybody. I know I enjoyed it. The others, I don't think so.

I say let it ride. It's fun to flame idiots.

Most likely the original posting was legit. But , I think people are having fun with it now.
