Marchand balun - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi,
I wonder how well balanced and unbalanced ports in Marchand balun can be matched simultaneously? What I simulated is that either unbalanced ports or balanced port can have good matching but simultaneously about VSWR=2 was achieved. Is there something wrong in my circuit? Unbalanced port is 50 Ohm and balanced ports are 25 Ohm each or 50 Ohm differentially.
