About voltage Probes on transmission line - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hello everybody,

I have already post several questions, as i try to learn more and more, here is another one if someone can help me again.
I'm studying a system i can,t open but where there's an output to an oscilloscope. I wonder as i'd like to do a modelisation, how can it be possible to do voltage measurement on a transmission line with coaxial cable? i thought about a coupler in he first time but i'm not sure. it's to measure time pulse response but it can also measure the input signal through the same transmission line.
