About F-type connectors - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

I am looking for a manufacturer of quality F-type connector.

I have been lookign for a flanged cable mount environmentally sealed F-type connector and hit the wall.

I know that F-type and quality are not very compatible but the application calls for it.

Any suggestions? :?: :!:

Actually I believe since the advent of digital cable TV and Cable Modem the need for a higher quality F connectors came about. Cable TV is using much higher frequencies then previously needed for analog transmission. They even have nice new way of swedging them on to the cable to keep the elements out. I would like to get the swedge tool and some of these higher quality connectors as well. I'm sure I can find them if I take a minute to look around. I'll post what I find when I have a minute.
