4-Wyde divider - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hi everybody!

I am designing the Synthesizer of RF receiver. Now I found a little trouble when I am trying to obtain 2 samples of the same RF signal. I was thinking into use a 4-Wyde resistor divider but the isolation I obtain between signals is very poor.I am using RF signals between 1500MHz to 2000MHz with levels from 0dBm to -10dBm.

Any good idea to split the same RF signal to 3 different ways with good isolation between each other?

If you are open to using discrete divider ICs then you have many option available from Mini-Circuits and Hittite.
I faced a similar situation (however for 6-7 GHz). I used a resistor power divider from SuSuMu Co limited. Their parts are available on digikey. However they give an attenuation of 6 dB and you should have enough amplification to compensate this loss
