Metamaterial Cloak - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Dear all,

I'd like to share with you some collected data about "Metamaterial Cloak". These data are collected from several websites and forums. I've uploaded them on http://imodelit.com/Sharewarelist.aspx?CAT_ID=140&ISShareWare=1.
Kindly, check these papers and let us open a discussion on them. Thanks.

Best Regards,

Greetings:

Here is a new article that appeared on the Science Daily website describing an optical wavelength metamaterial cloak.

Dear Kirt,

I have a small question about the article you sent its URL. The article said that they built a negative refractive index using a "Horse shoe shape nano-wires", how that will give a negative refractive index? By analogy to the SRR structures, SRRs give negative permeabilty only, and inorder to get negative refratctive, wires are added to get negative permitivity. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
