Need help on boiling egg with 2 cellphones - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Argue QUANTITATIVELY whether the contention that an egg can be boiled using cell
phones or cordless phones has merit or is groundless. The more quantitative you are, the
more points you'll get. This problem will exercise your ability to gather and critically examine
information as well as your common sense (which is in large measure what engineering
is all about).

OK. To understand the answer you first need to understand the question.
DeepThought needs the following data

1 mass of each egg
2 specific heat of egg
3 real part of permittivity of egg
4 imaginary part of permittivity or Loss Tangent of egg
5 Is egg large, medium or small, or give dimensions
