Matlab Question - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

I want to capture various signals using a digitiser (A/D) sampling card, which is fed from the output of my receiving system. I then want to analyse these signals. For example, I want to correlate different versions of the signal, and perform ambiguity analysis etc. I believe Matlab is the best package for this analysis? My question is: How does one generate the required matrix of input valves (which represents the captured input signal) that Matlab operates on? Effectively I will have the input signal converted to digital, but how then do I take it to Matlab to perform the signal processing?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

If you have a serial port interface on your A/D, you could use the computer's serial port to acquire data into matlab.
