Post subject: Dipole on a PCB

I am new to the Antenna Design Field. I need to
put a dipole antenna on my PCB. Frequency of Operation
is 2.4GHz. I see that the length of the Antenna
(half wave dipole) can be calculated from the wavelength
(0.5* 300/2400 cm). I am not sure about the balun,
transmission line and feed point design. I have
questions like which would be a good Transmission
line- a coax or a twin lead conductor, what would
be the length of the Transmission line, how to design
a balun. I would highly appreciate if someone
can throw some light on it or direct me with any
resource links, which would help my cause. Thanks

hi, I am required to simulate a microstrip dipole
antenna on Feko. I have found a reliable design
but am having problems with feko. is there anyone
out there who is able to help me.
