6 elements UHF yagi uda - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Anyone knows what is the gain for 6 elements UHF Yagi Uda ?
Someone please help me....I want to know the gain for calculate a Friis Transmission equation...?

A simple dipole gain over the isotrope 1.64=2.14dBi
a dipole with reflector 1.64x2=5.15dbi
a 3 elem. 1.64x3=6.9dBi
.........
a 6 elem 1.64x6=9.92dBi

6 element yagi is generally around 8db gain and a 7 element goes to 10db!!
